I worked closely with the author and our designer to edit this e-book, Patient Earth. Published in 2025, it's packed with practical ideas to help hospitals increase profitability by solving healthcare’s pollution and waste problems. It's content that serves customers while showcasing a startup's capabilities.

I'm proud of this guide, which uses accessible language - including a glossary for medical terms - and a lot of visuals for clarity. We also worked to a high scientific standard. The content was peer-reviewed and is supported by high quality references, which are included for expert patients who want to know more. I wrote a similar guide for people with scleroderma.

The interviews for this case study took me into the wayback machine. A prototype that started out as two TVs attached to a motorcycle helmet has evolved into state-of-the art virtual reality. This is one in a series of blogs I wrote for LifeArc, a billion-dollar technology transfer organization that brings the Medical Research Council's work into practical applications.

In collaboration with HIMSS and the Colorado Office for eHealth Information (OeHI), I researched and wrote this update on our state's latest health IT roadmap. I was impressed by the OeHI team's dedication to genuine consultation. They really listened to stakeholders across the state: you can see that reflected in the plans and in my article.
